It is suspicious that the US is trying so hard to cover up the incident. In June, a group of Chinese netizens signed a joint open letter to call on the WHO to investigate the USAMRIID at Fort Detrick. Only by opening the US Fort Detrick lab and letting scientists including those from China, who are independent from US geopolitical influence, to conduct a thorough investigation, can we step in the right path to figure out the origins of the virus, which is an action that is responsible for the humanity.

But the US media has dodged the call and distorted the Chinese netizens' suspicion as a "conspiracy theory," and at the same time, used untenable and flawed rumors to attack the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which had been investigated by Western experts and Western media.
